Ghost OGM Song Captures Audiences: Benki Segment a Clear Standout

Anticipation surrounds director MG Srinivas’ upcoming film Ghost, with Century Star Shivarajkumar in the lead role. This action-heist thriller is set over a gripping 48-hour timeframe, predominantly in a prison setting. The movie gained traction when discussions arose about using visual effects to showcase a de-aged Shivarajkumar. The inclusion of eminent personalities like Malayalam and Tamil actor Jayaram, and Bollywood’s Anupam Kher, is expected to give the film a pan-India appeal. Additionally, Srinivas has hinted at intertwining the narrative of Ghost with his earlier cinematic venture, Birbal, creating the foundation for the Srinivas Cinematic Universe.

The excitement was fueled by the Big Daddy teaser, which was launched on Shivarajkumar’s birthday in July. The fervor surrounding Shivarajkumar’s role as Jailer and his compelling presence as Narasimha turned the teaser into a social media sensation. This exposure also expanded Shivarajkumar’s fandom, drawing attention from regions like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andhra/Telangana.

As Ghost gears up for its October 19 theatrical debut, the production team has released its inaugural song, OGM (Original Gangster Music). This track, an extension of the Big Daddy background score, seamlessly blends lyrics in English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. The song’s popularity has skyrocketed, with particular appreciation directed towards the Malayalam segment by Jithin Raaj.

Produced under the banner of Sandesh Productions, Ghost promises to be a highlight this Dasara season. In the Kannada domain, it’s set to compete with Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B. Other noteworthy releases include Leo by Vijay, Tiger Nageshwara Rao featuring Ravi Teja, and Ganpath starring Tiger Shroff.
