The music for the film will be composed by Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma, with Sheldon Chau handling cinematography and Anthony overseeing the editing.

The film has been shot across exotic locations in New Zealand and Hyderabad and will be released in Telugu, alongside dubbed versions in other South Indian languages and Hindi.

Akshay Kumar’s venture into Telugu cinema with Kannappa follows his successful appearances in South Indian cinema, including a Kannada bilingual film Ashaant in 1993 and the Tamil blockbuster 2.0 in 2018 alongside superstar Rajinikanth.
