Pooja Hegde, one of South India’s hottest actresses, has chosen to bow out of the upcoming Telugu film “Guntur Kaaram” starring Superstar Mahesh Babu. The delay in shooting and frequent changes to the script were cited as her primary reasons for leaving the project.
Reportedly, due to production delays and changes in the script, the filming schedule of “Guntur Kaaram” changed multiple times, resulting in reshoots and modifications. Pooja had reportedly committed to working on other projects between June and December this year, so continuing with “Guntur Kaaram” would conflict with her availability. She voiced her displeasure over how the project was progressing before eventually deciding to walk away from it.
Currently, Pooja is concentrating on other Telugu and Hindi films, so she can have a more organized work schedule. Fans of both actors are disappointed that they won’t be able to see them share the big screen together anytime soon. She is awaiting the release of her highly-anticipated movie Radhe Shyam and has other commitments that take priority over this new gig.
Multiple unverified reports suggest Pooja has been replaced by Sreelala, who was earlier signed to play the second lead. The role vacated by Sreelala has reportedly gone to Meenakshii Chaudhary.
The film industry is buzzing with excitement about Pooja’s decision, as many had expected her to accept the offer from such a high-profile actor. The couple has not acted together since Maharshi in 2019 but surely starring in another movie would be an absolute treat for fans! Despite not taking on this role, fans can look forward to seeing more of Hegde in other movies soon enough!
