Aishwarya Lekshmi, set to star with Dulquer Salmaan in the anticipated film ‘King of Kotha’, recently opened up about her experiences working with the young actor and drew comparisons with his legendary father, Mammootty.

She remarked, “Dulquer is quite reserved on set. Our interactions were more vibrant during promotional events. In contrast, Mammootty is the life of the set. His presence creates a lively atmosphere, with friends and acquaintances often dropping by. Observing him engage with visitors is a treat.”

Aishwarya added, “Mammootty often shares tales from his early days in cinema, giving us perspective on our own journeys. He’s also quite the photographer, capturing candid moments on set. It’s always a pleasure being around him.”

Dulquer, discussing ‘King of Kotha’, emphasized its pan-Indian appeal and the dedication that went into its creation. The film boasts a talented ensemble, including actors Prasanna and Shabeer Kallarakkal.

Helmed by Abhilash Joshiy, ‘King of Kotha’ is a collaborative production between Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios. Slated for a global release on August 24, the film’s cinematography is the handiwork of Nimish Ravi, acclaimed for his contributions to ‘Kurup’ and ‘Rorschach’.
