Govardhan Rao Responds to Abhishek Nama’s Criticism of Vijay Deverakonda

In the ever-vibrant Telugu film industry, controversies are not uncommon. The recent one to take center stage is between the producer-distributor Abhishek Nama and the Deverakonda family.

Abhishek Nama openly criticized the “Arjun Reddy” star Vijay Deverakonda’s recent initiative, ‘Spreading Kushi’. Furthermore, he appeared to hold the actor responsible for the financial setback on their project “World Famous Lover.” The actor’s father, Govardhana Rao, was quick to voice his opinion against this criticism.

Setting the record straight, Govardhana Rao shed light on the fact that Vijay, after the release of “World Famous Lover”, chose not to claim a significant part of his promised remuneration. He further elaborated that producer KS Rama Rao was kept in the loop regarding this decision. During his conversation, he also clarified that the collections of ‘World Famous Lover’ and ‘Khushi’ movies are unrelated, contrary to what Nama insinuated.

The senior Deverakonda didn’t stop there. He openly critiqued Abhishek Nama’s wavering stance, pointing out how the producer oscillated between criticizing Vijay’s market standing and expressing a desire to collaborate with the star. Dismissing Nama’s tactics as nothing short of a “blackmail scheme,” he asserted that such strategies would not influence them.

To further solidify the family’s position in the industry, Govardhan Rao highlighted that Vijay is keen to work with esteemed production houses, citing names like Dil Raju, Mythri Movie Makers, and Geetha Arts. However, he made it abundantly clear that collaboration with Abhishek Nama is off the table.

Amidst all this, fans of Vijay Deverakonda continue to shower their favorite star with love and support, proving that the actor’s market value remains unaffected by such controversies.
