Nora Fatehi: The Self-Made Star’s Take on Financial Prudence and Her Journey to Success

Nora Fatehi opens up about her financial wisdom and the importance of independence, reflecting on her struggles and achievements as she shines in Bollywood with her latest hit, Madgaon Express.

Nora Fatehi, Bollywood’s dazzling star known for her sensational dance moves and acting skills, recently made headlines with her candid response to Akshay Kumar’s remarks about her financial mindfulness. Riding high on the success of her latest film, Madgaon Express, Nora has not only etched her name in the industry through her talent but also her prudent financial management.

In an interaction with Connect FM Canada, Nora addressed Akshay Kumar’s playful comment calling her ‘Gujarati’ for her careful handling of money. She articulated the significance of being financially responsible, especially when it involves the livelihood of her family. “It’s so important. I work 24/7. I’ll do three simultaneous shoots in one day. I work around the clock and have my reasons for doing that. I hear the same for him too. He works hard and is all about his money, and I respect that,” she revealed.

Nora, who has risen to prominence with her performance in the blockbuster music video Dilbar, shared that her diligence stems from the responsibility of being the breadwinner for her family. “My reason is because I am the breadwinner of my family. I take care of my family. I don’t have a man who’s financing my life or paying for my dreams and my rent and all that. I pay for everything myself. I take care of my mom, I take care of my siblings, I take care of my friends,” she stated, emphasizing her independence and the lack of a financial safety net often taken for granted.

Reflecting on her upbringing and the tough environment of her neighborhood in Toronto, Nora highlighted how her resilience was not born out of the industry’s challenges alone. “A lot of people might think that I developed ‘thick skin’ after these struggles and tears and rejection. But I’ve always had thick skin. It’s a very rough area, we go through a lot there. We’ve witnessed shootings in front of us. If I didn’t have thick skin, I would have not been able to make it through these last 9 – 10 years in India or even in the industry,” she elaborated.

Despite starting to earn at the tender age of 16 and missing out on enjoying her youth to its fullest, Nora expressed her love for her work and the accomplishments she has achieved so far. With her recent success in Madgaon Express, alongside stars like Divyenndu, Avinash Tiwary, and Pratik Gandhi, Nora Fatehi continues to inspire with her journey of hard work, resilience, and financial independence.

Nora Fatehi’s story is a powerful reminder of the strength and determination that lies behind the glitz and glamour of showbiz, serving as an inspiration for many aspiring artists navigating their paths in the industry.
