Are Swathi Reddy and Vikas Vasu Headed for a Divorce?

Speculation has been swirling around actress Swathi Reddy and her husband Vikas Vasu ever since July 18, when the latter deleted all of their wedding pictures from his social media accounts. The couple had married in 2018, with Vikas – a pilot based out of Indonesia – taking Swathi to live with him in the country thereafter.

South Indian actress Swathi Reddy married in a traditional Telugu ceremony in Hyderabad. Friends and dedicated family members were present at the event. It has been reported that on the same day, Swathi hosted a reception for her co-stars from Mollywood, Kerala; which is also where her husband, Vikas Vasu, is originally from.

Swathi Reddy’s marriage was celebrated with a beautiful ceremony full of culture and tradition. She had several colleagues from the entertainment industry in attendance. Though news of their blissful union soon spread around, recently rumors of their split have surfaced, leaving fans wondering if it’s true or not.

Vikas Vasu shares a strong bond with South India’s entertainment industry and has starred in several movie projects while residing in Kerala. His popularity across the region grew as he acquired more roles, leading him to meet Swathi Reddy through mutual friends and acquaintances.

In 2020, rumors began to emerge about a potential split between them after she removed all content related to her husband from her Instagram account. In response, she explained that she was simply archiving them to clean up her profile more efficiently, and posted a video as proof. However, shortly afterward she deactivated her account altogether on any platform citing that “balancing an online life and real life was getting surreal.”

There has been no official confirmation or denial from either party regarding the divorce rumors yet. Let’s hope both parties come to a resolution soon.
