Photos display her amazing transformation including a new short hairdo which has attracted admiration from her fans. In one shot, however, her neck tattoo serves up an even more meaningful reminder of her past.
The lettering ‘YMC’ featured on the back of her neck points to her debut Telugu movie, Ye Maaya Chesave. An important milestone in both her professional and personal life, the movie marked the first time she co-starred with Naga Chaitanya – her ex-partner at the time – and it appears she hasn’t forgotten their shared experience. The actress has had the tattoo for some time now and is proudly displaying it during this well-deserved vacation.

The ‘Oo Antava’ star Samantha Akkineni was asked for tattoo suggestions from a fan during an AMA session. The South Indian actress, who has three tattoos that have a Naga Chaitanya connection, replied to the fan with a video message shared on her Instagram stories. In her response, she warned, “You know the one thing I’d tell my younger self is never ever get a tattoo. Never. Never ever. Ever, get a tattoo”.
